10 FREAKIN days until three houses comes out- I’m... I am NOT entirely sure what to do with myself until then.
At this point there’s a good amount of evidence suggesting Byleth isn’t human (the character select screen saying ‘choose your form’, their age being listed as ‘??’, them responding to a question about what they are with ‘I’m mortal’ rather than ‘I’m human’, which would make more sense), but it’s all just circumstantial enough/could be attributed to other reasons that I can’t be sure, but I will be incredibly disappointed if they turn out to be a normal human.
But like, with the age thing in particular, it doesn’t make sense to have it down as ‘??’ instead of like… a number? I mean, you could argue it’s because player characters are supposed to allow for people to fill in the details as they please, but Byleth doesn’t seem to be customizable like Robin and Corrin, so we’re stuck with the age their model appears at, which looks like the late teens-early twenties range? So unless there’s something about their age that would give something away I don’t see why we couldn’t just get an actual number.
The fact that you can’t pet the animals in Three Houses is a hate crime and I’m calling the police.
